Debbie Rosen

Our Artistic Director, Debbie Rosen, hails from Canmore, Alberta, where she served nine seasons as the Music Director for Cornerstone Theatre's winter music productions, and as on-stage pianist for the world-acclaimed dinner show "Oh Canada, Eh!?"

 

Singer, director, pianist, clarinetist and educator, Debbie holds a BMUS in Clarinet Performance from the University of Alberta. In addition to having directed Canmore's Valley Winds Choir and Band for many years, Debbie is a founding member and director of the internationally-acclaimed

a cappella ensemble "In The Pink!" In 2007 she was awarded Canmore's prestigious Mayor's Award for Artistic Excellence, and in 2006 was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship for Service Above Self by the Canmore Rotary Club.

 

She is proud to have been a part of the musical education of hundreds of students, young and old, and now is passing on her love of choral singing to the men and women of the Lac Ste. Anne Community Choir.
